As Legislative Aide, Dario is responsible for legislative and constituent work regarding Community Development and Small Businesses; Economic Development; Election Laws; Higher Education; Housing; Labor and Workforce Development; State Administration and Regulatory Oversight; and Transportation.
Dario came to the US from Colombia in 2020. Before being part of this team, he was a recognized leader and Housing Coordinator at La Colaborativa in Chelsea. Before that he was a Legal and Political Advisor in different governmental organizations in Colombia.
Dario attended the Catholic University where he earned his Law Degree and specialized in Constitutional and Administrative Law. Dario also attended the Universita Degli Studi Di Salerno in Italy where he earned his Master’s in Political Science. He is a published author and has attended academic seminars all over the world. Dario enjoys working with Senator Sonia Chang- Díaz because it gives him the opportunity to help the Latinx community. His goal is to work in policy making so he can improve the lives of immigrants and people of color.
